Too many lonely men and women are currently in prison or on death row.
Too many human beings are locked in their cells for 23 hours each and every day
and most of them have to go through mental and fisical abuse.
Most prisoners are forgotten by our society, by their families, friends and
loved ones. Most of them never receive mail, never receive any word of
encouragement or have the feeling to be cared for.

It is up to us to let them feel the happiness of receiving a letter or a simple
card, to let them feel that they are not forgotten. It is up to us to let them know
that they are not alone but that they are worth something, that we want to help
them rebuild their self-esteem.
